Chef - Harrys Restaurant
Steak being cooked in Exeter restaurant

If you’re a chef, passionate about producing consistently brilliant home-from-home dishes, within a fast-paced kitchen, then we want to hear from you!

The role is very hands-on and extremely varied, so your kitchen management skills will be of paramount importance. Harry’s is a family-run business and you’ll be working with the owner and head chef on a regular basis. You’ll enjoy being part of a close-knit team who shares a vested interest in the business and a very particular vision for the restaurant.

You will support the head chef with ordering, stock rotation and working to budgets and deputise in their absence. You’ll have responsibility for health and safety, food hygiene, and the achievement of GP targets. Level 3 food hygiene certificate is preferred yet not essential as training provided.

You’ll be highly motivated, easily be able to prioritise and work well under pressure, whilst maintaining an even temperament at all times. Experience is preferred or at least some time in a commercial kitchen, but happy to train the right person. Clean, tidy, organised, happy, with an honest desire to work and be part of a team, are the best attributes you can bring.

We will provide a happy, busy and successful environment for you to learn and work in. We are open 5 split days a week so guaranteed Sunday evening and all day Monday off. Hours are usually 9am- 4pm and 6pm -11.30pm.

The Food:
